TRENCHLESS SEWER REPAIR & REPLACEMENT IN LOS ANGELES
Traditional methods of sewer repair and replacement require the digging of large, unsightly trenches across your yard or landscaping in order to access the old or broken pipes. Not only is this a major hassle, but it is also time-consuming and costly.
At Power Pro Plumbing Heating & Air, we offer a non-invasive, non-destructive alternative to traditional methods: trenchless sewer repair and replacement throughout Los Angeles.
As the name implies, trenchless sewer repair and replacement do not require our technicians to dig trenches to access pipes. Instead, this method allows us to effectively repair/replace your existing sewer lines with minimal damage to your property.
We use a sewer video inspection to uncover what is wrong and if hydro jetting is not enough to clear the debris, we can utilize our experience in trenchless repair and replacement to help correct the issue from all angles.
We proudly serve all of Long Beach, the South Bay, and the Greater Los Angeles Area! Free estimates available for all our services.
When a sewer line breaks, some homeowners think the only solution is to dig deep trenches in their yards to reach and repair their pipes. This process can ruin your landscape, and it might require you to break up concrete driveways or hardscape features. Depending on the broken pipe’s location, you might also need to pay a fine to the city and hire a contractor to rip up the street in front of your home.
To help you avoid the expenses and hassle associated with sewer repair or replacement, we offer expert trenchless sewer repair.
Thanks to this advanced technology, you can:
- Keep your yard intact
- Avoid city fines
- Repair the problem as quickly, easily, and painlessly as possible
There are two primary methods of repairing/replacing sewer lines without digging trenches, pipe bursting and pipe lining.
This method fully replaces an existing pipe line. With pipe bursting, a pipe-bursting head is affixed to a length of flexible replacement pipe. The pipe and head is then pulled through the existing piping wherein the bursting head breaks the old piping to make way for the new length of pipe.
Pipe bursting allows you to replace old, outdated sewer lines with larger piping. This can help reduce the number of clogs/blockages within the sewer lines. Pipe bursting is also very quick, making it an attractive option for businesses that want to repair or replace sewer lines with minimal downtime.
Also known as cured-in-place-piping, or CIPP, pipe lining does not involve the removal of the old piping. Instead, a mixture of epoxy and resin is attached to a long, flexible tube (typically made of cloth). The mixture is then pulled through the existing piping and cured with hot air. The new piping cures in place inside the existing piping.
Pipe lining, on the other hand, is incredibly durable and long-lasting. In many cases, it can last for up to 50 years, making this a very cost-effective option. Unfortunately, for some pipe systems, it might already be too late to try to fix the existing piping. If the sewer line is already extremely damaged or corroded, this will not work as a viable option.
Despite its many benefits, hydro jetting should not be used in certain cases. If you own a home or property that has older, fragile pipes, hydro-jetting could ultimately end up causing more damage. It is also not suitable when pipes are damaged or cracked.
Is Trenchless Repair & Replacement an Option for Any Type of Piping?
Regardless of the specific type that best suits your needs, trenchless sewer repair only involves the digging of one or two entry/exit points. Additionally, it is a suitable option for just about every type of piping.
