SCE-territory homes (most of our OC & LA-county footprint outside the City of LA)
- Instant midstream discounts: $300+/ton on central heat pumps, up to $600/ton on mini-splits

SCE lists this as limited-time. Ask us whether the equipment quoted for your project qualifies.
Stack Your Rebates
Tap the upgrades you're considering.
Your rebates depend on who supplies your electricity — City of LA addresses are LADWP, most of the rest of our footprint is SCE. Pick your utility, tap the upgrades, and see what could stack. We verify and file the paperwork at your estimate.

Up to $0 in incentives
Program maximums (per-ton rebates shown at a typical 3-ton size) — your actual amount depends on equipment, efficiency tier, and funding.
Amounts shown are program maximums and are not guaranteed. Eligibility depends on the exact equipment and efficiency tier, your utility, and remaining program funding — and some programs can't be combined on the same appliance (for example, two rebates on one water heater). Per-ton rebates (LADWP heat pumps, SCE instant discounts) are illustrated at a typical 3-ton residential size; your system may be larger or smaller. SoCalGas 2026 rebates require installation by 12/31/2026. LADWP applications require a paid invoice, AHRI certificate, and a final approved permit — which is one more reason permits are non-negotiable. We confirm current eligibility against each program's official pages at your estimate and handle the paperwork for you.
Water-Heating Savings
What would an upgrade actually save per year?
Two honest upgrade paths, compared side by side against what you have now — gas tankless (endless hot water on SoCalGas) and a heat pump water heater (the biggest rebates in LADWP territory). Adjust the rates to match your bills.
Your current water heater
$490/yr to run
Path 1 · Gas tankless
$320/yr
- Saves / yr
- $170
- Over 10 years
- $1,703
Endless hot water, 18–20 year lifespan, SoCalGas rebates up to $1,500.
Tankless water heaters →Path 2 · Heat pump water heater
$343/yr
- Saves / yr
- $147
- Over 10 years
- $1,468
3–4× the efficiency of any tank; LADWP rebates up to $2,500 for City of LA electric customers.
Water heater services →Estimates only, for general comparison — actual costs depend on your hot-water use, equipment, and utility rates (LADWP, SCE, and SoCalGas rates all differ and change seasonally). Figures use published ENERGY STAR / DOE Uniform Energy Factors with useful heat held constant across systems. Upfront installation costs differ between the two paths and aren't included here — see the pricing guide for ranges. We'll give you exact numbers, and every rebate you qualify for, at your estimate.
What's Gone (So You Don't Get Sold On It)
If a quote leans on these, ask questions.
Federal 25C & 25D tax credits
The federal Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (25C) and Residential Clean Energy Credit (25D) were terminated for property placed in service after 12/31/2025. Installations completed in 2026 do not qualify — only 2025-completed installs can still be claimed on 2025 returns.
TECH Clean California & CA HEEHRA
TECH Clean California stopped accepting single-family reservations on 11/14/2025, and HEEHRA Phase I income-qualified rebates are fully reserved statewide (waitlist only, not retroactive). HEEHRA Phase II and the HOMES program are funded but not yet launched — join our list and we'll let you know if new funding opens.
