What does “Daikin Comfort Pro” actually mean for you?
Comfort Pro is a designation Daikin awards — a dealer can't simply claim it. It means the dealer's technicians receive factory training on Daikin equipment, installations are performed to the manufacturer's specifications, and the dealer is held accountable to the program's standards: a Comfort Pro that fails to meet them risks losing the ability to sell Daikin at all.
It also means every installation carries the Daikin Comfort Promise. In Power Pro's own words: as part of formally maintaining the Daikin Comfort Pro distinction, we will make all reasonable efforts to resolve any concerns you have within one year of your equipment installation — at no cost to you. If the install hasn't met your expectations, we come back and make it right.

Daikin's warranty, plainly
- Parts limited warranty (qualifying residential systems): 12 years. Registration is normally required within 60 days of installation — but registration is not required in California.
- Unit replacement limited warranty (select models): 6 or 12 years, requiring registration plus annual maintenance; valid for as long as the original owner owns the home.
- Heat exchanger limited warranty (select gas furnaces): lifetime (99-year), for the original owner on select models.

- 3 Complete registration within 60 days of installation to secure the full 12-year parts term.
Live in California? State law (Civil Code §1793.1) doesn't allow warranty coverage to be conditioned on registration, so you keep full coverage either way. We still recommend registering: claims go faster when Daikin already has your system on file.
