Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the Power Pro Plumbing, Heating & Air website.
Last updated:
The short version
- Prices, calculators, and estimates on this website are a guide. Your price is set in a written quote after we see the job.
- The work we do in your home is covered by the written agreement you sign, not by these website terms.
- Financing comes from third-party lenders and is subject to their approval and terms.
- Our texts are about your service request. Reply STOP to stop them, HELP for help.
- Disputes about this website go to individual arbitration unless you opt out within 30 days (Section 17). Small-claims court is always available.
1. Agreement to These Terms
This website is operated by Power Pro, Inc., doing business as Power Pro Plumbing, Heating & Air (“Power Pro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website, including our online booking, chat, forms, and calculators, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy, including Your Privacy Choices for opting out of the sale or sharing of your information. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 18 years old to request service or submit information through the site.
2. Who We Are and Our License
Power Pro Plumbing, Heating & Air is a licensed California contractor, CSLB License #766254, providing residential plumbing, drain and sewer, water heater, heating, air conditioning, and indoor air quality services in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Contractors are required by law to be licensed and regulated by the Contractors State License Board, which has jurisdiction to investigate complaints against contractors if a complaint regarding a patent act or omission is filed within four years of the date of the alleged violation. A complaint regarding a latent act or omission pertaining to structural defects must be filed within 10 years of the date of the alleged violation. Any questions concerning a contractor may be referred to the Registrar, Contractors State License Board, P.O. Box 26000, Sacramento, CA 95826, or cslb.ca.gov.
3. Using This Website
We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable permission to use this website to learn about our services and to contact or book with us. You agree not to: use the site for any unlawful purpose; submit false information or someone else’s contact details; send spam, malware, or automated requests; scrape or copy the site in bulk; try to reach non-public areas or disrupt the site; or use the site to harass anyone. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these rules.
4. Estimates, Quotes, and Scheduling
We offer free estimates. An estimate, a price range, or a calculator result is not a binding quote. Your price is set only in a written quote or contract after we inspect the job, and it becomes binding when you sign or approve it. Work in your home is governed by that written agreement and the invoice, which follow California Contractors State License Board requirements, not by these website terms. Where the two differ, the written agreement controls.
Booking online, through chat, or with a form is a request until our team confirms it. Arrival windows are estimates and can change with emergencies, weather, and traffic. Please tell us as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule.
5. Prices Shown on This Website
Our Pricing page, cost guides, and calculators show typical price ranges and published market ranges to help you plan. They are general information, not an offer. Your actual price depends on your home, the equipment and materials you choose, access, code and permit requirements, and conditions we find on site. Prices and ranges can change without notice. If a price on the site is wrong because of a typographical or technical error, we are not bound by it.
6. Promotions, Coupons, and Rebates
Specials and coupons are subject to their stated terms, are for residential service unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined with other offers, are limited to one per service, have no cash value, and expire on the date shown. Utility, manufacturer, and government rebates and tax credits are set by the program that offers them, depend on your eligibility and available funding, and can change or end at any time. We do not guarantee any rebate or tax credit. We may help with paperwork, but the program decides.
7. Financing Through Third-Party Lenders
Financing is offered through third-party lenders, currently GreenSky and Synchrony. Power Pro is not the lender. Approval, rates, promotional terms (including any deferred-interest terms), payments, and servicing are set by the lender under its own agreement and disclosures, which you should read carefully before applying. Financing is subject to credit approval. Advertised financing offers are examples and may not be available to every customer.
8. Our Guarantees and Warranties
Our published guarantees:
- 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not satisfied, we will make it right.
- Price match guarantee. Call us at (833) 212-2124 for details.
- 10-year warranty for the price of 6 on a new water heater installation, per the offer’s stated terms.
- Power Club extended labor warranty for Power Club members, on the terms in your membership agreement.
- Daikin Worry-Free 12-Year Warranty. A manufacturer’s warranty from Daikin, not from Power Pro, on qualifying Daikin products, subject to Daikin’s terms and registration requirements.
Each guarantee applies on its stated terms at the time of service. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer. Nothing in these terms limits warranty rights you have under California law that cannot be waived.
9. Automated Tools and AI-Assisted Content
Some content on this site, including articles, guides, and answers from our “Ask Power Pro” search, may be written or organized with help from automated or artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and our chat may use automated replies. Our team reviews this content, but it can still contain mistakes and may not fit your situation. It is general information, not professional, engineering, legal, financial, or safety advice, and it is not a diagnosis of your home. For anything that matters, and always for gas leaks, electrical hazards, or flooding, call us or the right emergency service.
10. Reviews and Things You Send Us
Reviews you post about us must reflect your own real experience. Nothing in these terms stops you from posting an honest review, positive or negative. When you send us a review, photo, testimonial, or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on our website and marketing with the name you gave. Ask us any time and we will stop using it going forward. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, or includes someone else’s private information. Customer reviews reflect individual experiences; results vary.
11. Text Messages
When you give us your mobile number and agree on one of our forms, or text us first, you agree to receive text messages from Power Pro Plumbing, Heating & Air about your request, including by automated technology: replies, appointment confirmations and reminders, technician updates, and follow-up about the work.
- Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time; you’ll get one confirmation text. Reply HELP for help, or call (833) 212-2124.
- Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase.
- Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We do not share or sell your mobile number or text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
Our online booking, chat, reviews display, financing applications, and some other features are provided by third parties, and the site links to other websites. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
13. Intellectual Property
The website and its content, including text, graphics, photos, videos, tools, and the Power Pro Plumbing, Heating & Air name and logo, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Any other copying, republishing, or commercial use requires our written permission.
14. Website Provided “As Is”
To the fullest extent the law allows, the website and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any information, estimate, or result will be achieved. This section is about the website only. It does not change the guarantees in Section 8 or the written agreement for any work we perform.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Power Pro and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim arising from the website is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under California law, including for fraud, willful injury, or gross negligence, and they do not limit the written agreement for any work we perform.
16. Your Responsibility for Misuse
If you break these terms, misuse the website, or submit content that violates someone else’s rights, you agree to defend and indemnify Power Pro and its owners and employees against the resulting claims, losses, and reasonable attorneys’ fees, to the extent the law allows.
17. Resolving Disputes: Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver
Please read this section carefully. It affects your rights, including your right to go to court.
Talk to us first. Before starting any formal claim, send us a written notice describing the problem and what you want, by email to [email protected] or by mail to the address in Section 20. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
Arbitration. If we can’t resolve it, any dispute arising out of or relating to this website or these terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court. The arbitration will take place in Los Angeles County, California, or by video or phone if you prefer. We will pay the filing, administration, and arbitrator fees beyond what you would pay to file in court. The arbitrator may award any individual relief a court could. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. If the written agreement for work at your home has its own dispute terms, those terms govern disputes about that work.
Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You may always file a complaint with the Contractors State License Board or any other government agency. Nothing in this section waives your right to seek public injunctive relief in court where California law protects that right.
Class-action waiver. To the extent the law allows, claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will proceed in court and not in arbitration.
30-day right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] with your name and the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” within 30 days after you first use the website after the “Last updated” date above. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.
18. Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any claim that is not subject to arbitration will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
19. General Terms
We may change or discontinue any part of the website at any time. We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date shows the current version, and changes apply from the date they are posted, except that changes to Section 17 do not apply to a dispute you have already notified us about. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the website; the written agreement for any work at your home is separate.
Notice to California users (Cal. Civ. Code § 1789.3): The Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
