Costa Mesa homeowners have called Power Pro first for 20+ years — for everything from middle-of-the-night emergencies to planned upgrades. Your service is dispatched from our Anaheim office, so a licensed, background-checked technician is genuinely nearby, not "in your area" in name only.

Salt air is the defining factor on the OC coast — condenser coils, flues, and exposed fittings corrode measurably faster within a couple miles of the water. Older beach cottages in downtown Huntington and the Newport peninsula still carry prewar-era plumbing. Many coastal homes historically skipped AC and are now adding ductless systems as summers warm.

Every visit starts the same way: we diagnose, explain your options in plain language, and put exact pricing in writing before any work begins. We back it with a price match guarantee and a 100% satisfaction guarantee — and 1,400+ Google reviews across Los Angeles & Orange County keep us honest.

Costa Mesa facts that shape drain & sewer work

Housing age

68.3% of Costa Mesa's 44,427 housing units (about 30,340) were built before 1980, and 20.4% (about 9,060) before 1960, per the Census ACS 2020–2024 estimates; the median year built is 1972. Unless a lateral has been replaced, many sewer lines under those 30,340 Costa Mesa housing units are more than 46 years old, and clay or cast-iron laterals of that age are prone to root intrusion, offset joints, and cracking — the defects a camera inspection finds.

Permits

Sewer line replacement on private property in Costa Mesa is permitted through the City of Costa Mesa Building Safety Division; work in the street or sidewalk can need a separate public works permit.
