Tankless Water Heater Services in Pasadena, CA
Licensed water heaters pros serving Pasadena and the surrounding San Gabriel Valley area — 24/7, with same-day appointments.
Pasadena homeowners have called Power Pro first for 20+ years — for everything from middle-of-the-night emergencies to planned upgrades. Your service is dispatched from our Cerritos office, so a licensed, background-checked technician is genuinely nearby, not "in your area" in name only.
The San Gabriel Valley runs noticeably hotter than the coast in summer, so properly sized air conditioning is essential rather than optional. Postwar slab-on-grade tracts make slab leaks a familiar local failure, and groundwater-served areas have some of the hardest water in the county. Many 1950s–60s homes are on their original galvanized supply piping.
Every visit starts the same way: we diagnose, explain your options in plain language, and put exact pricing in writing before any work begins. We back it with a price match guarantee and a 100% satisfaction guarantee — and 1,400+ Google reviews across Los Angeles & Orange County keep us honest.
Pasadena facts that shape tankless water heater work
Water hardness
A tankless unit in Pasadena runs on Pasadena Water and Power water that averaged 236 mg/L (about 13.8 grains per gallon) in 2024 testing, with samples ranging 208–270 mg/L — very hard by the USGS scale. Scale on a tankless heat exchanger cuts efficiency and flow, so tankless makers call for periodic descaling, which is worth planning for at 13.8 gpg.

Gas utility & rebates
A gas tankless unit in Pasadena runs on SoCalGas service. SoCalGas pays $80–$1,500 on an ENERGY STAR gas tankless water heater, tiered by efficiency so condensing units earn the top of the range — installed by 12/31/2026 while 2026 funds last.

Electric utility & rebates
If you are weighing tankless against an electric heat pump water heater in Pasadena, the electric utility is Pasadena Water and Power (PWP). Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) is municipal, so SCE programs do not apply to a heat pump water heater here; Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) runs its own programs.
